Jimmy the Mower has been chosen as one of the Real Football No.1s by Sky bet and has been featured in their latest advertising campaign. The people who make football better are not always on the pitch. More often than not, they’re working behind the scenes, preparing kits, and cheering on the side-lines. Sometimes they’re even mowing the grass like Jimmy. You can watch the full advert on Youtube here.

Lets keep the magic alive and see what we can achieve in the coming years. Thank you for your support, Jimmy_ "Have you ever heard of a man who became famous for mowing grass? Well, Jimmy the Mower is one such man! In his video, Jimmy takes us on a journey through his amazing story that started with a simple tweet. On June 27th, 2019, Jimmy tweeted, "It might only be a council field next to the tip, but to the kids round here playing football, it’s Wembley, so I always cut it like it is." Little did he know that this tweet would lead to an amazing adventure that would take him from Bilbrook to Wembley and beyond! After his tweet went viral, Jimmy was inundated with emails and telephone calls. Even BBC Midlands Today took notice and came to record a film of him cutting grass at Bilbrook. The video was so popular that it became the most watched video on the BBC news website! But the excitement didn't end there. The grounds manager of Wembley stadium, Karl Standley, saw the tweet and invited Jimmy to come and help cut the pitch at Wembley stadium. The news was covered by BBC Midlands Today, and Jimmy's story continued to spread. Jimmy was also invited for a tour of the Ransomes factory in Ipswich, where he had the privilege of cutting the pitch at Ipswich Town FC with a Ransomes Mastiff. He was even given a new mower, the Ransomes Parkway 3 Meteor, to use for a year! But the highlight of Jimmy's journey was his visit to Wembley stadium, where he helped to cut the pitch with Karl Standley. He even got a surprise gift - a football shirt - from Karl! The whole experience was covered by both BBC News and The One Show, and Jimmy got to meet TV presenters Michelle Ackerley and Amol Rajan, as well as other show guests like John Bishop, Gabby Logan, and Peter Crouch. Through all of this, Jimmy's Twitter following grew, and he encouraged people to share photos of their own lawns, cricket pitches, football pitches, and golf greens using the hashtag #patchoftheday. He even chose a weekly winner at random! In October 2019, Jimmy was invited to SALTEX to speak about groundsmanship in the media. And now, he has started a YouTube channel to offer help, advice, and product reviews. Who knows what exciting things the future holds for Jimmy the Mower? Join Jimmy on his journey from a humble mower man to a social media sensation, and be inspired by his determination, positivity, and love for his craft.
